I recently took a week off work to visit my grandma with my mom and sister. We flew down to see my grandma for a week and my aunt & 2 female cousins came for a girls weekend! One of the cousins completely surprised us, which was awesome because she’s the only female cousin that couldn’t come. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of blogging, but I have so many ideas and things that I’m making happen for my little blog! I decided to share some of my favorite blog posts I’ve read recently.

I was always comparing myself to other bloggers when I first started and I still do it occasionally so I loved reading this post. I think the hardest think is when someone that started their blog after you did grows to be bigger & more successful than you. The reason my blog wasn’t growing as quickly is because I wasn’t putting as much into it as necessary.

I really loved the format of this posts, I’m always trying to find new books to read and although I’ve only read one of the books, all the books sounded really good. My favorite place to look for book recommendations is on blogs and Tiffany is a huge bookworm so she’s always ready good books.

Asia shared all about the different occupations she considered but once she thought about what her life would be like if she was successful they changed. I’ve always wanted to be a designer, but the type of designer and life I want now are different than they used to be. The location of my job used to be the most important thing to me, but now I just want a job with a fun environment that doesn’t feel like a chore 24/7.

The system Kayla uses to organize all her blog post ideas is super smart! I have a list of all my ideas, but I don’t have them organized at all. Mine are all currently just in iCloud Reminders where I’ve been putting all my blog information lately.
Make It Happen Episode 15: With Megan Minns
The main reason I loved this episode so much was all the tools that they mentioned. I’ve been looking into a bunch of different ones and figuring out which were best. 17hats sounds super intriguing and I’m definitely going to have to play around with it when I get home from vacation. I had been looking into one for contracts and one for invoicing & this one does both & more!
How To Make A Travel Journal That Always Inspires You
I’m dying to be able to travel the world and Gina’s post inspired me to revisit the adventure book I made a while ago. Right now it just has one boring page and I need to change that! Plus I need a little crafty time, it’s crazy how much time flies when I start working on something creative and I haven’t done that in a while!
