Guess what guys? I’m finally back!! Did you miss me? I’m going to start blogging every Tuesday and Thursday like I originally planned on doing in the beginning of the school year.
Last week was super duper stressful and crazy. Instead of having fun on Halloween I had to get up at 7am to register for classes. I registered for 2 of them online and then I ran over to registrars and had to register for another class because I had to get some of the prerequisites waived. The worst part about college is registering! Even though this is basically my last semester, minus the two classes I’ll be taking in Italy, I was still freaking out that the classes I needed were going to close before I could register. How is registering at your college? Is it as stressful and frustrating as it is at my school?
Another think that has been on my mind a lot lately is paying for my study abroad trip to Italy. I’ve been trying to come up with different ideas for fundraising, some of them realistic and others very farfetched and most likely not possible. The two most realistic ideas I’m planning on doing is selling some of my art including prints from my printmaking class and designing shirts and selling them. If you know a good site to sell shirts on let me know! They would need to make & sell the shirts without taking too much profit. I also thought it would be really cool to organize a concert to raise some money but I don’t know how possible it would be. Do you have any ideas for me? I’m going to talk to the study abroad coordinator soon to see if she has any ideas from what people have done in the past. I’ll make sure I share my tips for everyone in case you are interested in studying abroad and are worried about the money.
Nothing really exciting has been going on besides classes. My roommates and me got a guinea pig, named it Charlie, and then got rid of it 3 weeks later because we felt bad that we didn’t have enough time to play with him. And, yes I am wearing floral pants! ^
I can’t really think of anything else. I’m really excited to get back to blogging and reading al of your blogs. You should see me commenting on all of your blogs and if not email me and yell at me lol! Also, if you have any blogs you are really proud of or that you want to share and you think I might enjoy, email those to me too! I could always use things for when I feel like procrastinating. 😉
Oh my boys would love a guinea pig– I just can’t quite do it, but they would be all over one if I let them.
Happily following you now from the “friends” hop. I’d so love it if you’d join me at Localsugarhawaii.com where we’re riding the wave of life together, one adventure at a time.
I wanted to personally invite you too to join me and our beautiful team for An Aloha Affair– it’s a new sort of way of being/ growing together in a more meaningful way and we’re truly committed to you having a great experience– I hope you’ll join us… save ya a spot?…
I think you’re absolutely right, registering is the worst part of the whole process! I experienced it both as a student and then on the flip side as an academic. Not pleasant for either party! I think selling your art is a good idea, you might like to look at ltl prints. I buy from there often 🙂
