If you read my last few blog posts, you know how crazy things have been and that I decided to have guest bloggers for the week! First up is Danielle from Framed Frosting! Thank you so much for helping me out! 🙂

Hello everyone! My name is Danielle and I blog over at Framed Frosting.
A little bit more about me…I’m a college freshman who loves to spend her free time reading through new posts on Bloglovin, socializing on Twitter, and shopping online. These are just a few things I enjoy doing when I’m not doing homework and studying for exams.
I live in a very small college dorm room with very strict decorating rules. You can’t hang things on the wall, you can’t paint the walls, and our room is so weirdly shaped that the furniture only fits one way no matter how much you want to change that. It’s not a requirement at my university for freshman to live in the dorms, but I thought it would be a good experience. And to put it nicely, it was definitely an experience…but there’s no way I’m doing this ever again. It’s just too much of a small space for my liking.
Next year, me and two of the girls I go to school with are renting an apartment together. We each get our own bedroom, bathroom, and closet and then we share the kitchen, living room, and laundry room. I am so excited to have a nice big space to myself and decorate it however I wish. I don’t move in until August, but every time I look at my small dorm room, I can’t stop thinking about how awesome the big apartment is going to be!
I thought it would be fun to create an apartment mood board to show you all my sense of style and how I would decorate my bedroom if I had an endless amount of time and money.
{sweet dreams}

I know exactly how living in a small dorm room without being able to decorate! I’ve lived in one for 3 years and I’m also super excited to be living in an apartment for my senior year! My friend and I have been obsessed with finding cool & inexpensive ways to decorate our apartment for next year! 🙂
I’d hate living in a place where you can’t even hang a painting!
Dorms aren’t very common in Portugal, so there aren’t as many rooms available and those are usually for students who have financial problems or are far away from home. Besides that, you either choose a university near where you live or you can rent an apartment.
Yeah, most of the time I just wish I didn’t live in a dorm!
