This month I was paired with Chloe from Wanderlust in the Midwest. When I first got an email from Chloe I thought it was super awesome/funny because about 3 days before that I had emailed her about doing a blogger meetup for other bloggers in Michigan (if you are in Michigan, let me know!
I was super excited when I opened the envelope, everything was wrapped super nicely and it made me feel like it was Christmas or my birthday.  Here’s everything I received from her:

Washi Tape
I’m in love with every single washi tape pattern. I told her I could never have enough and I’ll definitely be using these a lot. If you ever get anything in the mail from me don’t be surprised if it’s decorated in washi tape!

Paint Brushes & a Palette
I recently got a cup to store all my paint brushes in & these helped fill it even more (you’ll see it when I do a post on my new workspace!). I was also excited about the paint palette because even though I already had one, it has been driving me nuts that there was dried paint stuck on it!

Nail Polish
I love all the nail polishes. I hadn’t heard of the Nail Rock brand before, you basically paint with the red polish & then on the second coat you dip your nail in the glitter! I have glitter in a bottle for your nails but it’s a complete mess dumping it out onto your nails.

Argan Oil & Red Lipstick
I love this hair oil, I’ve been trying to use more products on my hair recently & this stuff is amazing so far! If you read my 1,001 in 101 post then you know I’ve been wanting to try out a red lipstick, I will definitely have to wear this one. I just need to find an occasion to wear it!

Last but Not Least…
Dots & Stripes paper! I’m not sure what I’ll use these for yet but I’m in love with every single one of these patterns.

Love in a Box is a blogger swap hosted by Kimberly from Kimberly’s Chronicle, and Megan from Lush to Blush

What do you think of my new backdrop for items? After participating in Erin from Living in Yellow’s Blogger Happy Hour a couple month ago, I was inspired to purchase something to make my photos better. I just got a foam board and a yard of painted burlap, I can even flip it over if the gold chevron takes away from the item!
