Right now, I’m currently sitting in the car for a 12 hour drive and thought I’d try a post where I haven’t thought about what I’m going to write about. I usually always have a plan for my posts, I didn’t realize I did that until talking with Erin, Bonnie and Allena in the Blogger Happy Hour I participated in last month.
We went to a puppy store the second day we got there. I wanted to keep this guy.
I’m off to North Carolina for a week with my family and warm weather. You have no idea how excited I am for weather in the 50s-70s for a week. This winter was brutal, I’m used to Michigan winters but this one was a lot worse than normal. We’ve been lucky to get 40 degree weather. I keep ready blog posts about how it’s finally spring but it still doesn’t seem like spring to me. I decided to pack 3 dresses and a skirt because I’ve missed wearing them after my month in Italy.
This guy just sat there, he was super cute.
I miss Italy so much! I’d go back in a heartbeat without thinking about it if I could. It doesn’t help that I’ve been craving gelato since I got back. I’ve probably had 20 dreams about going back just to get gelato. I miss other things too, the buildings, the food, the art, basically everything about it.
Two days later…
We ended up driving all the way through, I definitely started going a little crazy by the end of the trip. Especially since I couldn’t fall asleep. We got there at 12:30 and went right to sleep.
Today is rainy so I believe we are going to be shopping for the day. It hasn’t been super warm out but it’s definitely better than in Michigan.
