Emily Finta - Ultimate Netflix List- TV Comedy

It’s finally time for the second part of my Netflix series and this time around I’m sharing all my favorite TV comedies & sitcoms.

About This Series

I’m addicted to Netflix and I love finding things to watch. Once I finish a TV Show, there’s always an awkward period where I have no idea what to watch next. In case you ever go through the same thing, I decided to make a list of everything I love or want to watch so hopefully you never run out of things.  To make my list, I go through the category on Netflix and I also look at my viewing history. There have been a few series that I loved but were unfortunately removed and I wanted to share them anyway in case they are ever added back!
Previous Ultimate Netflix List – TV Dramas

Best of TV Comedy

PSYCH – I don’t want to say too much about Psych because I mention it constantly but this will always be my favorite TV show of all time so of course it had to be at the top of this list. I’m crossing my fingers that a movie actually gets made someday and it is my dream to meet James Roday & Dule Hill someday! Oh and when they do make a movie, my sister and I decided that no matter what we are going to the premiere!
VIDEO GAME HIGH SCHOOL – This was originally a YouTube series and it was added to Netflix (you can still watch it on YouTube though). I didn’t think much of anything when I started this series, but I actually really enjoyed watching it. It’s all about a high school that focuses on video games (bet you couldn’t guess that from the title) and in this world video games are a huge sport.
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT – I always ended up watching this show when it was on TV with my dad. One day when it was raining at our cottage, I binge watched it with my cousins which happens a lot when there is bad weather up there. There’s always money in the banana stand.
SCRUBS – One of the shows I always watched growing up but never actually saw in order. I still haven’t watched it in order, but I definitely will someday. Although, I don’t plan on watching the final season because I saw a few episodes on TV and it didn’t look as good as the rest of the show.
UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT – Probably the best original Netflix show so far, I wasn’t sure about it at first but as I got more into the season, I loved it. I can’t wait until they make more seasons. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Kimmy has been stuck in a bomb shelter because a cult leader told her and some other women that the world is over. She decides to move to New York and a lot of things changed since which makes her completely awkward in a lot of situations.
ORANGE IT THE NEW BLACK – I started watching OITNB because everyone was talking about it, it’s not the best show ever but I think it’s pretty good. I think it’s crazy how much all these prisoners get away with and it always make me wonder (and worry) if there are any prisons out there that are just like it.
BABY DADDY – I mainly watched this show because I loved Kyle XY and I thought Josh/Jean-Luc Bilodeau ( who is the main character in Baby Daddy). I also really like Chelsea Kane because she ran an awesome blog for a while (her blog has changed since then but it was similar to Lauren Conrad’s blog)
THE GUILD – Throughout this series you might notice that I watched a lot of shows because of my cousins. This was another one we watched together and it’s a web series about gaming starring Felicia Day. Each season is on Netflix as an episode and are 40-90 minutes long. It’s definitely a show you could watch in a day if you have nothing to do.
FRIENDS – Another show I watched but never in order. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you about this show because so many bloggers mentioned it when it first started streaming.
THAT 70s SHOW – This show reminds me of college because it was on ABC Family when my roommates and I all got out of classes so we ended up watching them together.
PARKS & RECREATION – I just started season 3 today and watched a couple episodes between writing blog posts for the week as my reward. The show is hilarious and each episode gets funnier. I had always heard everyone talk about how amazing this show is but the main reason I gave it a chance was because of Chris Pratt. It’s so good so far and although it will never top Psych, I know it’s going to be one of my all-time favorite shows!

In My Queue

DON’T TRUST THE B IN APARTMENT 23 – I started this show after a couple bloggers recommended it and I watch a few episodes and it just made me want to watch Dawson’s Creek since it was mentioned so much (which they removed as soon as I got hooked).
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT – My dad and sister are always watching this when I go visit him and it looks super funny. Patrick Warburton & Oliver Hudson’s characters are hilarious.
FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS – This show was a recommendation from Tiffany from Endless Bliss in one of her Netflix posts. I’m not sure exactly what the show is about, but we like a lot of the same shows so I know I’ll love it.

The last few are just ones I’ve heard great things about, but don’t have comments on because I don’t know much about them.
IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA
SCROTAL RECALL
THE INBETWEENERS
THE CRAZY ONES
DROP DEAD DIVA
30 ROCK

SADLY REMOVED FROM NETFLIX

18 TO LIFE – The main reason I decided to watch this show was because Michael Seater from Strange Days at Blake Holsey High (which I loved when I was younger) was in it. I loved the show it was super funny and I really wished the series would have lasted longer.
UGLY BETTY – This was another show I was hesitant about watching. Something about them calling her ugly Betty bothered me, but I realized it was about a lot more than that. It’s too bad they removed it because it was super good.

Next up will be Sci Fi/Supernatural TV Shows because I watch so many of them I decided they needed to be in a separate category.
